There are a few things that it sounds like you may not have tried yet. One is a really good probiotic like Primal Defense. Another thing that loosens many people up is higher doses of vitamin C in the 3000 to 5000 mg per day range (provided you have no health conditions and are not taking anything else that interacts with vitamin c). With that amount of vitamin C, I would recommend our Ester-C to keep your body from becoming too acidic. Also, the MSM may eventually help you if you keep at it, although you may want to drop back down to the half teaspoon twice a day while your body has more time to heal.
: Most things that detox me cause me to get really constipated. I've taken so many things that if other people took that amount they'd never get off the toilet but not me. Olive oil, apple cider vinegar, MSM, prunes, garlic nothing seems to work anymore. The MSM made my skin nice and hair nice and my pain wasn't as bad but did absolutely nothing for my chronic constipation. Every article I've read said it's suppose to do wonders for that problem, what gives???
: : We really don't know why most people have one response and a few people have the opposite response to using MSM (if that was the only thing that changed at that particular time). There are some other alternatives to deal with constipation including Primal Defense, Coconut Oil, and Cod Liver Oil as well as eating items that tend to loosen things up like nuts and other foods with natural oils.
: : : I too noticed after increasing my dosage of MSM from a 1/2 a teaspoon to 1 teaspoon twice a day, I do not have the urge to go to the bathroom. I have always had constipation problems but now it seems worse. I was so looking forward to the fact that MOST people get relief from MSM with that problem. Why would that happen?
