I don't know that I can be any help on the Yarrow part--I had not dealt with it before. Looking it up didn't provide much insight in relation to your problem either (see http://www.friedli.com/herbs/yarrow.html).
I can say that often times the very thing that the MSM is helping with gets worse initially before it gets quite a bit better. It's as though the MSM is attacking the problem area. A week is not much time in relation to the time required to address significant scarring--more than likely it will take several months of consistent use to see major results. Note that we also advise taking a good amount of vitamin c to aid in the healing process (at least 500 mg up to 3000 mg a day). We prefer Ester-C because of its non-acidic nature and time-release properties.
: I had a skin cancer lesion taken off the left inside cheek. I have scar tissue so bad that I cannot open my jaw all of the way. I was told to take MSM and it would loosen the scar tissue. I have taken it for a week, now my cheek where the scar is is swollen, and my jaw opening has gotten worse. I was also told to take Yarrow with the MSM. I would appreciate any information anyone may have on my problem.
