I am also allergic to sulfa drugs. I was told I could take MSM. So I did. After a week I broke out in a horrible rash. So yes you can be allergic to anything with sulfa in it. Its not different. I break out from some lotions and shower gels, bubble bath etc. they have sulfur in some of them.
