MSM also tends to thin the blood so when taking blood thinners it is best to monitor the situation so that the blood does not get too thin. There are no other known interactions with medications. I would be somewhat concerned about the side-effects of taking "large doses of ibuprofen" since it is known that ibuprofen can cause serious damage in large doses. If taking ibuprofen for pain, you should be able to reduce or eliminate it as the MSM takes over your pain relief. I don't know why blood would show up unless it would be from the ibuprofen or maybe due to extreme detox when just starting out on MSM in which case I would reduce the amount of MSM and then proceed to increase much more slowly to avoid detox.
: does MSM increase or decrease the efficiency of blood thinners?
: What might the side effects be of taking MSM with large doses of ibuprophen?
: Could this cause blood to show up in a urinalysis?
